Tin Star Games is Troy Mepyans, the classic gamer turned author. Inspired by a love of fantasy role-playing games and the literature of J.R.R. Tolkien, he has spent his life creating characters and adventuring across myriad worlds until the fateful day he drew a small map in the break-room of his workplace and the world of Aledress was born. "Riddle of the Horned Gate", "Into the Darkness", and "Creation's Font" followed soon afterward and compete that exciting series. Troy has finished a young reader project, "The Double "A" Detective Agency: Case of the Missing Bike", and also published a devotional book on the Book of Luke entitled "All For The Kingdom." In 2016 Troy entered into a partnership with his friend, Jon Neddo, and created Dragon-Knight Publishing. "Whispers of Starfall" is an adventure for Dungeons and Dragons written and published by Dragon-Knight Publishing. Troy also writes freelance for the Star Trek Adventures RPG by Modiphius Entertainment; has created his own TTRPG through The Yellow Hand, called Ashland 2d20; has contributed to multiple other TTRPGs through The Yellow Hand; and is an Official Licensee of Pinnacle Entertainment Group for the Savage Worlds RPG. Troy lives in Kalamazoo with his wife, Dawn, his youngest daughter, Anna, and two crazy cats named Gandalf and Shuri.
